A Bit of a Change...!

You may notice, I've started to replace the small image and watermark with a coloured image as I don't think the watermark was working - too easy to clean off and I think you get a better idea of the image when it's coloured - a bit like the rubber stamps with the image on the wooden handle!
Hope you like this way of displaying my images.

Instructions for watermarks

It's in a .png format. Take care not to re-save it as a jpg (very easily done!)as it will no longer be transparent.

Save it to a convenient location, like your desktop or a file in your 'photos' folder.

Take your photo and save it.

Open it in your graphics program..

Open watermark.

Click 'copy' on watermark and MINIMIZE or CLOSE watermark.

Click on photo and 'paste' . You watermark will appear in the centre of your photo (and possibly the wrong size too as I make them big for a good clean resolution when reduced).

Use your 'move' tool to move it to where you want. On my program the same tool can alter size too.

Once happy with the watermark's size/position, 'save' photo with a title and in a place you will find it again.

New kits!

I've some new paper kits on this week - a pretty soft coloured one called 'Anjelica' and a seasonal collection called 'Softly Falling'.  The working title was 'Audaube but my friend Christa suggested 'Softly Falling' instead and I thought that was so pretty and much more appropriate for the swirling leaves and snow in the papers.

I've made quite a few new kits but I just haven't had the time to kit them up and get them on but I will try in the next few days to get some more on.

Hope you will like them! As always, if you like anything on here, e-mail me at eiglas@eiglas.co.uk and I will send you the download code.

Purchasing my digis...

...is now easy!
I now have them at '4-shared' download site so all you need to do is e-mail me with your choice of digistamp or digital paperkit and on receipt of your PayPal advice note, I will send you the code to download your choice! Simples!

I've a lot of new kits and digis to upload, when I get a minute and would love to hear from you as to what digis you would like to see.

I can also now offer you personalized digital paperkits.

All I need is a colourful photo that means something to you and I will make a paperkit from it for you, after which I will delete it and the kit from my hard-drive, so you will be the only person on earth with a copy of that particular kit!

If you are interested in this service, please e-mail me for details!

An exciting new collaboration!

Over the past few days I've been in discussion with a talented designer from Crafts-U-Print called Carol Smith.

Carol contacted me with come very complimentary comments on my digis and asked if I would allow the use of some of them on her super card-toppers, which she sells on Crafts-U-Print.

I confess to being a little sceptical at first as, really, I could do as much myself, had I the mind to, and wouldn't need to share any (very small it must be said!)  profit but as I looked at her pages on CUP I became convinced that I should go for it.   I did discuss it with a few of my friends, hobbyists and professional, and ended up more confusticated than before!

So, in the end I took the bull by the horns and trusted my instinct that Carol is the lovely lady she appears to me to be.   I think it will possibly share my images to a wider audience and that thought makes me happy!

Here is her first creation with my image of my Very Cheeky Snowman!

Isn't that fab?

Carol has, very kindly, sent me the sheet so I was able to make up one of the possible designs with it.

The sheets Carol makes are already coloured in and come with the background scene you see here (plus others) and they come with the separate sections so you can easily decoupage them.

Here's a low-res image so you can see the layout (but thieves can't use it as it will pixillate as soon as you enlarge it). Carol's are much higher res and are a clean print.

Carol's toppers are great fun and a real boon to those with little time to spare or not confident in their colouring and they're very inexpensive!

Don't forget, if you like Cheeky, only I have the digi-stamps and he's over here at  Eiglassing! in the Christmas collection.  Just e-mail me and a download code will be sent!

New digi..... Calvin & Neo

...is now under the 'Peeps!' tab - as teenagers they aren't really children and I have no more pages I can make!
I'll also put them under the 'Male' tab so they can be found there too.

They look like they're having a laugh, don't they?

Paper Kits

I have most of my digital paperkit samples on now, under the 'Paper Kits' tab but still not put out  buy now buttons - I really must find some time to do that!
In the meantime, please just e-mail me at eiglas@eiglas.co.uk and we can take it from there!

My digistamps are nearly all up ...but then they never will be ALL up because as I'm uploading them, I'm drawing more and as I'm drawing them, I'm getting ideas for the next one! Ad infinitum! LOL!

My 'Roseheart' papers, have proved very popular 'per se' but I still believe them to be too expensive because I'm having them printed at a local printer so cannot hope to compete with commercial manufacturers, who have runs of many thousands, making it sooo much cheaper.

I can have any of my designs made up, but they're all going to be in the region of £1.00 per sheet, so, sadly, I'm not going to market them unless especially asked for them.

I need extra page tabs really but this blog layout doesn't allow more.
Perhaps I'll start a 'Latest Release' page right here!

Keep looking!

New Look!

AS you can probably see, my shop design is in a state of flux! LOL!
I've had peeps asking me for an easy way to purchase these digis so I finally got my thinking cap on and worked out how to make a PayPal button!

I've also organized my images into categories in the tabs at the top of the page so you can find the ones you're looking for more easily.

I really hope this makes this lickle emporium pleasanter and more easily navigated!

Baby Toby

I know, I know...I can't hold my own water!
My new grandson is due anytime and I know I should wait until he's born to upload his stamp but I may be too busy then to do it all - after all, I'll have a new baby to cuddle as well as Lola, my four month old puppy, and Ada!

I made this drawing of Ada when she was just a few months old and I think she looks quite boy-ish in it so I've cleaned it up and made it into a digistamp!

(Sorry about the small coloured image. This is the problem with a small minority who think it's okay to steal, they make it harder for everyone else.)

What's more, I finally worked out how to add a PayPal button, so feel free to buy him! LOL! He's over in 'Babies & Children' section in the tabs at the top of the page!

Hope you all like him!

Big gap...... but now I'm back!

Things got a little bit busy towards the end of 2010, between looking after my two-year old grandbabby Ada and raising a litter of  six pups, I was meeting myself coming back even before Christmas started its approach!

But that's all over now, the New Year has dawned and our new grandbabby is on his way any time in the next two weeks, so I have a little more time to myself as Ada's mummy takes her maternity leave.

I have made a couple of new digis but after having had a couple stolen last year, I didn't know whether to keep Eiglassing on or not but have decided that to ditch it would mean the thieves have won.

How poor must these peeps be if they can't  even spring for a couple of quid?

Let me just say that if anyone is genuinely THAT hard up, I will personally GIVE them a digi rather than they should turn to theft.
